Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Family Quest ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are creating an account on behalf of a family, you represent that you are a parent or legal guardian with authority to agree to these terms for your family.

2. Description of Service

Family Quest is a family task management platform that uses gamification (coins, XP, levels, badges) to motivate children to complete household tasks and build good habits. The service is provided free of charge.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be a parent or legal guardian to add children to your family

4. Parental Consent & Responsibility

By adding a child to your Family Quest family, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and you consent to the collection and use of the child's data as described in our Privacy Policy and Children's Privacy Notice. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the Service.

5. Kid Accounts

Kid accounts are created and managed by parents. Kids:

• Log in with a family code and PIN (set by parent)
• Cannot modify their own account settings
• Cannot make real-money purchases
• Can only interact within their own family

6. Virtual Currency

Coins earned in Family Quest are virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. They can only be redeemed within the family's reward store for items and privileges defined by parents. Virtual currency cannot be transferred outside the platform, exchanged for real money, or carried over if an account is deleted.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Create accounts for children who are not your own
• Attempt to access other families' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to access the Service

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Family Quest is a tool to assist with family organization — it is not a substitute for parental judgment or professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Family Quest and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
